It’s been a nastily difficult task for fans of the Motorola Moto G to lay hands on the 16GB smartphone on Flipkart since the stock kept selling out faster than anyone could say ‘lightning quick.’ The last time we got a notification from the retailer telling us that it was up for grabs, the handset got sold out within the hour.
Now the smartphone either lost a lot of potential customers when the Moto X was announced for Asia or people who desperately wanted it managed to grab it when it became available previously. As far as we can see, it doesn’t seem to be selling like hot cakes as before. The phone’s been up for ordering for hours and is still showing ‘In stock’ presently.
The 16GB Motorola Moto G costs Rs 13,999, while the 8GB one is tacked with a Rs 12,499 price tag. Like we’ve already mentioned, the 8GB variant doesn’t seem to be as popular as the 16GB smartphone since neither offers a microSD card slot for memory expansion. Additionally, there’s a difference of only Rs 1,500 between the two and we imagine buyers wouldn’t think much of spending that much more for double the storage.
