Interestingly, 33% of Indians loathed selfie-addicts, contrasted with the regional average of 21%. Furthermore, only 4% of citizens were offended by online profanity. It’s a small number compared to the 43% of respondents in Thailand who said cursing would annoy them. 65% of Indians admitted to being internet addicts, slightly lower than the overall average of 67%.

Telenor also noted that women felt more addicted to the net than men did in India. 21% of females spent 2 hours online every day, totaling to 730 hours per year. However, males went online more frequently, with 89% accessing the internet many times a day outside of work purposes.
