Out in India right now is the iBall Slide Stellar A2 tablet which ships with an 8MP front camera that makes it the first in the country to offer such a feature, according to its maker. Priced at Rs 11999, this slab is soon to be made available for purchase in the country through online and offline retailers.
The iBall Slide Stellar A2 is not asking to be called that, but the 8MP camera on its front surface does make it a selfie tablet. It should easily be able to satisfy the needs of shutterbugs who’re addicted to self-portraits. As for those interested in normal photography, there’s another 8MP snapper which can be found sitting on the tablet’s rear surface.
The 3G and dual SIM-supporting Slide Stellar A2 kicks in a 7-inch display that’s able to dole its visuals out in a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels at 215ppi. There’s a 1.7GHz octa core processor onboard, and this MediaTek CPU brings with it the HotKnot functionality which offers support for NFC-like file transfers.
