The 128GB Surface Pro has hit pre-order status after being declared out of stock last week. The official Surface blog states that buyers in the US can now put in a request for the device till the inventory lasts.
The company proclaims that the Surface Pro can be purchased from their website and other retailers. Best Buy currently possesses the slate in-store and customers can pick it up from there. In case the dealer runs out of the devices, buyers can opt to reserve it. The maker however clarifies that reservations would be made only once the vendor is sure that it would be receiving more supplies.
Potential consumers can visit their nearest Staples shop as well. But it seems that just the smaller memory variant has occupied shelves there and even pre-orders would be taken only for the same through an in-store kiosk. Those awaiting the device’s arrival in Canada would have to hold on a little while longer as Best Buy is currently accepting bookings only for the 64GB. Future Shop on the other hand, is accommodating bookings for both variants.
