Motorola is rolling out the Android 4.4.4 KitKat update for the Moto E, Moto G and Moto X phones, but let’s hope it doesn’t change its mind midway through. Unless v4.4.3 was never intended to reach all devices, the company decided to beam the latest available version of Google’s mobile OS right at Moto owners without having bothered about its previous build.
Of course, newer is mostly always better unless developers are trying to fix something that ain’t broken. So we’re not here to complain about Motorola letting Moto E, G and X users jump the line directly to KitKat 4.4.4. The latest KitKat update will contain a bunch of security fixes especially in the light of a flaw that was discovered in OpenSSL following the panic caused by the Heartbleed bug.
Android v4.4.3 already towed along several small enhancement and optimization features, though the chief alteration was the Dialer app. Naturally, the redesigned calling interface is coming with KitKat 4.4.4 too and it flaunts some much needed tweaks in terms of aesthetics and functionality, comparison pictures of which you can see on Android Police.
We've begun rolling out Android, KitKat, 4.4.4 for Moto E, Moto G & Moto X this week in India! Expect an update on your #Moto soon!

Motorola India had announced the roll-out of the upgrade via a short and sweet Twitter tweet. You can expect the update on your Moto E, Moto G or Moto X device soon. It should arrive OTA automatically and you could also check the About Phone section in your Settings menu for it.
