The iPhone is flooded with games and now 10tons presents an adventurous challenge to iPhone owners with the latest Rope Raider game. The rope swinging challenge is intelligently set in an atmospheric cityscape.

The basic gameplay needs users to shoot a rope and then swing forward from one building to another. The Rope Raider presents an atmospheric dusky cityscape environment with ambient sounds and fascinating visual effects. The game presents three game modes including Free Swingin’, Coin Rush and Speed Frenzy.

“We loved to play these rope swinging games and that’s why we wanted to create Rope Raider. I think it’s one of the best rope swinging games for iPhone and iPod touch. Our goal was to create a tiny immersive world with great gameplay and some fun physics simulation. This is a game that practically anyone can pick up and enjoy,” mentioned Tero Alatalo, the CEO of 10tons Ltd.

While playing in Free Swingin’ mode, players need to travel as far as possible while picking up any coin bonuses on the way. However, in the Coin Rush mode, players have to collect maximum number of coins within a limited time. In Speed Frenzy mode, iPhone users just have to move farthest within a restricted time. Three different difficulty levels are incorporated in each of these modes.

The difficulty level influences the position and height of the buildings and also the time constraints. Further, the game also features online leaderboards.

The Rope Raider for the iPhone can be purchased from the Apple App Store. The iPhone game will be retailed for $0.99 until November 15, 2009. Later on this 10tons game will cost $1.99.
