Mobile gaming has been on a high rise for quite some time now. We have seen the iPhone show off a plethora of gaming apps. This time around, its Palm Pre smartphone which flaunts three renowned games from 10tons.
10tons has released Sparkle, Azkend, and Miriel the Magical Merchant mobile games for the Palm Pre. Moreover, the company also plans to offer more games to the webOS platform later this year.
“We’re thrilled to have our games available in the Palm App Catalog, particularly as we see it growing into a thriving gaming community,” said Tero Alatalo, the CEO of 10tons. “The platform has been really easy to work with. Thanks to the introduction of Palm webOS PDK, we were able to port three full games to webOS in just a few days.”
Sparkle is the premium action puzzler that took the top spot on popular casual gaming portal when launched for Mac and PC. The game revolves around an extraordinary journey to uncover the secrets of Crowberry Woods. By taking the control of Orb Slinger, gamers can banish the darkness and retain the beautiful and serene woods.
Miriel the Magical Merchant includes the main character Miriel who runs a general store in a magical kingdom. Players need to help Miriel travel through the kingdom and unleash an expanding storyline alongside build a general store empire.
This addictive puzzle, Azkend, comes with smooth touch controls that blend with immersive graphics. In this game, players have to create chains of two or three items by stringing them together. It includes two game modes and its desktop version had reached the top 10 in several lists.
