At the time of world economy crisis Samsung has propelled its two entry level cellphones, Samsung E1410 and Samsung E1117. Both the candybars phone bears the South Korean manufacturer’s brand. Samsung is making its place in the mobile market before the economy crisis that is been expected to show its effect by next year.
Samsung E1410 phone has a 1.63 inch CSTN display screen with 128 x 128 pixels and enriched with 65K colors. The phone supports dual band and GSM connectivity. It also extends its support to GPRS system. The Samsung E1410 phone comes packed in with a 4MB internal memory. The Samsung boasts about its 1000 mAh battery that offers talktime upto 11.5 hours and standby time upto 546 hours.
Samsung E1117 candybar phone supports dual band and supports GSM connectivity. It integrates a FM radio and 900 KB of internal memory. It also has 1.63 inch CSTN display screen and weighs about 79 grams only. Its battery life is similar to that of Samsung E1410 phone.
Both the Samsung’s candybar phone does not feature a camera or a MP3 player, so the price is expected to be around $100. No details on its availability are revealed yet.
