Zynga brings along FarmVille to iPhone as it completes a year

FarmVille, the extremely popular game by Zygna is brought to the iPhone arena. Around 75 million users enjoy playing FarmVille and the game is completing a year this week. The blend of FarmVille enables iPhone users to now enjoy the app on the go, which they may have previously accessed on their PCs.

Zygna’s strategy of bringing social games to a larger audience across various platforms comes closer to attaining its results with FarmVille coming to iPhone. The application touts on providing a fresh social gaming experience with the help of the multi-utility attributes of the touchscreen. Just with a swipe and tap of the finger, farmers can zoom in or out to view their entire farm, drive tractors or harvest crops. Push notifications instantly alert iPhone users with the status of their crops and farm. Existing FarmVille players can take care of their fields and play whenever they want.

The FarmVille application carries exclusive market items and gifts available only for the iPhone users. These have been offered by Zygna in order to celebrate its first birthday. The exclusive gifts consist of white apple trees and a baby snow leopard. Zygna’s future plans include bringing up more built-in features for the iPhone 4 and iOS 4 that leverage on their multi-tasking functionality and augmented graphics to be exhibited on the innovative Retina Display of the iPhone 4.
