Prices for the Zync Dual 7.0 and Quad 8.0 and 9.7 have been revealed by the company and the slates are tagged at Rs. 5,990, Rs. 12,990 and Rs. 13,990, respectively. Gauging the current requirements of the market, the maker has chosen Android 4.1 Jelly Bean as the platform for its latest offerings. This line-up will allow customers to use the internet through Wireless LAN. What might perplex them, however, would be the fact that no provision for Bluetooth connectivity has been made.
As is evident from the names, the Quad 8.0 and 9.7 come with Mali 400 MP4 GPUs and quad core chipsets that run at a clock rate of 1.5GHz. Both slates permit users to stock content up to 16GB and further memory expansion up till 32GB is also made feasible through the microSD slot. Pictures and footage can be captured through the 5MP rear camera and video conferencing could be carried out via the 2MP front-facing lens.
The difference between these two slabs lies in the sizes of their touchscreens. While the smaller one possesses an 8-inch display, the bigger slate sports a panel that measures 9.7 inches. Furthermore, the company claims that the latter device’s LED-backlit Super HD IPS screen is comparable to Apple’s iPad 3 Retina Display. Also, the larger tablet has been endowed with an 8000mAh battery as opposed to its sibling’s 5400mAh power pack.
The Dual 7.0 consists of a quad core graphics unit and is driven by a 1.6GHz dual core processor in collaboration with 1GB of RAM. 8GB of internal memory is allocated to consumers which can be extended via a microSD card. Its 7-inch multi-touch screen possesses a resolution of 800 x 480 pixels. A 0.3MP snapper is seated on the front panel and a 2MP lens is embedded on the rear.
The company has mentioned that the Zync Dual 7.0, Quad 8.0 and 9.7 would be available through a number of online retailers. For now, the smallest device has been spotted on sites like Infibeam, Tradus, HomeShop18 and Snapdeal for the amount stated earlier. Yebhi, however, is selling it for Rs. 5,899.
