The ZTE Grand X Quad Lite has paid a visit to India, together with five other smartphones named the Kis Flex and Blade G2, L, C as well as E. Apart from the six handsets, ZTE took the opportunity to introduce four 3G-enabled data cards ranging between Rs 1,799 and Rs 2,499.
Starting with the Grand X Quad Lite, it is the cream of the crop in the mix and has understandably been pegged with a relatively higher retail tag as compared to the others. It will join the horde of 5-inch gadgets in the country, and conceals a quad core processor clocked at 1.2GHz. The phone has been optimized for Android 4.2 Jelly Bean and a 5MP primary camera can be counted as its highlight as well.
Listing down the similarities in the devices hailing from the Blade portfolio, each flaunts a 5MP camera (except the Blade C and its 3MP lens) on its rear panel. The internal storage capacity sums up to 4GB, while the overall space can be increased by up to 32GB. Even 512MB of RAM runs parallel in all. The 4.5-inch Blade E and G2 rock Android 4.1 out of the box and get their steam from a 1.2GHz quad chipset.
They however differ when it comes to the battery with the former bagging a 1,600mAh cell and the latter including a 2000mAh power pack. The 4-inch C and 5-inch L are both dual core gadgets, but the CPU of the smaller handset possesses a clock speed of 1GHz, while that of the larger one scales up to 1.2GHz.
Finally, the Gingerbread-toting Kis Flex has been built around a 3.5-inch display and accommodates a 2MP snapper on its flip side. It allows internal hoarding of up to 512MB as well as expanding the bulk capacity by up to 32GB and there’s 256MB of RAM. A 1GHz SoC along with a 1,200mAh battery keeps the phone running.
The Grand X Quad Lite has been marked with a price tag of Rs 14,599, while the Blade L will be made available at Rs 12,599. The E, G2 and C from the corresponding series have been pegged at Rs 11,599, 11,599 and Rs 7,599, respectively. Pinned to a retail tag reading Rs 5,799, is the Kis Plex.
