The highly-awaited Windows Phone 7 has already captivated users with its advanced functionality. TBS Enterprise Mobility has come up with the ‘Your Weather’ which is a Met Office app mainly created for the charming device. The app promises to put forth an enticing personal user experience.
Apart from most liked locations and events, the app delights users with a calendar to evaluate the weather of a specific area with utmost ease. Users can confirm the information received and effortlessly share it with friends and family.
Steve Reynolds, Managing Director of TBS Enterprise Mobility, commented, “We’ve worked closely with the Met Office to develop an application which capitalizes on Met Office data to go beyond the usual weather app. Our goal was to create a utility-centric application that becomes behaviorally integrated.”
The innovative app offers five-day forecasts, updated data and extreme weather alerts. The app also enables users to examine forecast accuracy. Later, an advanced version of the app is expected to hit the Marketplace which will include allergy notifications or event-based alerts.
The app is anticipated to be available for download through the Windows Phone Marketplace for a starting price-point of 0.59 pence.
