Xolo Opus Q1000 Broadcom SoC-equipped smartphone up for pre-order at Rs 9999

The Xolo Opus Q1000 smartphone was announced less than a month ago in India, but the company had refrained from letting out much about the gadget back then. But now, an e-retailer has gone ahead and revealed everything there is to know about the phone, including its price which stands at Rs 9,999.

It was revealed back in November that the Xolo handset makes the most of the Broadcom BCM23550 processor, but the product page on Flipkart fails to mention this bit of information. Nevertheless, it does say that the device is powered by a quad core 1.2GHz processor which seeks assistance from 1GB of RAM. The phone is a 5-inch phablet and makes the most of an IPS display which can render visuals in 480 x 854p resolution.

A set of two cameras also grace the Xolo phone, a 5MP snapper lays claim on the rear side, while a 0.3MP webcam is for facilitating video conferencing. In addition to these, you will find a 2000mAh battery that can cough up the juice for talk time of about 18 hours in the 2G mode and 11 hours in 3G.

The Xolo Opus Q1000 has been priced at Rs 9,999 and it is currently up for pre-order through Flipkart. It may be released in the third week of this month.
