Secret Cinema showcased the Lawrence of Arabia in London, with an entire Bedouin backdrop and costumes. The air was filled with mysticism and zeal as Arab warriors and women roamed the Alexandra Palace. The most interesting part for mobile aficionados however was the display of the Windows Phone 7 advertisement. The video of the advertisement now pops up on YouTube.
Appearing like a mirage in the desert sea, the phone was introduced to the audience just before the movie keeping in mind the Arabic feel. The ad had dulcet music syncing with the Arabic theme. Advertisement is a medium to generate awareness and had Microsoft added a hint to at least some features of the phone, enthusiasts would be more than happy.
The only information that the ad mentioned was, ‘the revolution is coming’. We previously knew that the OS is all ready and is said to be loaded with features. The ad also showcases Xbox Live, but that again is something we already are aware of. So guess it’s time for some more disclosures.
