A couple of days back Microsoft Corporation annunciated that it will present the much-awaited phone next week. Now, according to Engadget, Wall Street Journal has recently revealed that Microsoft will announce the Windows Mobile 7 on 15 February, at Mobile World Congress 2010.
Apparently, the official announcement will be made at the MWC that will take place in Barcelona. The new operating system will have a new user interface similar to what users can see on the Zune HD player.
Project Pink is also confirmed by the WSJ and, as rumored, it steps in as a separate phone designed to replace the Sidekick. The Project Pink phones are said to be social networking powerhouses that will appeal to a teen-aged audience. The word is that it won’t make an appearance at MWC at all.
