The 2008 CEATEC in Japan has seen some really exciting phones. The most recent slider phone to be released at this event is the Willcom 03, an ultra-chic smartphone. The candy bar handset is for those looking for that tad extra in a phone.
The Willcom 03 sports a 3” 800 x 480 touch screen display, a built-in Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, a 256MB flash memory and a microSD card slot for expandable memory. Packed with Windows Mobile 6.1 OS, other attributes of the phone include a 2 megapixel camera and a battery that offers around 420 hours in standby time along with 360 hours of talk time.
The main highlight of the phone is the 1-seg built-in support, a really nice mobile TV tuner. Bundled with some awesome features, the Willcom 03 makes an eye catching package in lime, gold and pink colours. We must say the colour tones complement the compact body of the handset really well.
There’s no word on the price of this smartphone.
