There are rumors circulating that T-Mobile’s BlackBerry Curve 8520 will be exclusively carried by Walmart for around two months. The launch date is touted to be August 5.
According to Engadget, apparently there is a message circulating around Walmart that declares August 5 as the date for the launch of the BlackBerry Curve 8520. This rumor was reported by a source employed by Walmart.
T-Mobile will also be shipping the myTouch 3G on August 5.
The BlackBerry Curve 8520 sports a 320 x 240 resolution color display and 2 MP camera with no flash for clicking clear images. It also has WiFi, quad-band GSM and RIM’s OS 5.0 along with 256 megabytes of internal memory and 1150mAh battery. There is an optical trackpad on the front face of the device. Unfortunately, this phone does not feature 3G connectivity.
The pricing of the BlackBerry Curve 8520 is unclear.
