Vonage Mobile expands to T-Mobile and AT&T Android phones

Vonage Logo T-Mobile and AT&T Android phone users can now make VoIP calls via Vonage Mobile. Vonage Holdings now expands its Vonage Mobile services to T-Mobile and AT&T Android phones, reveals Gizmodo. These services are currently accessible on the iPhone and BlackBerry devices.

The Vonage Mobile application offers users two options of either subscribe to the Vonage World Mobile or choose the Vonage Mobile Pay-Per-Use scheme. With Vonage World Mobile, users can make international calls to more than 60 countries. While, the Vonage Pay-Per-Use helps the user in saving up to 50 percent on international calls.

Michael Tempora, senior vice president of product management commented that, “We are focused on ensuring that our customers can enjoy all the benefits of their Vonage service from any location using any device that can access the Internet. We will continue to expand our offerings in 2010 to include a robust set of voice and messaging services that utilize Wi-Fi and 3G wireless networks.”

With Vonage Mobile, users can enjoy superior quality outbound international calling and free domestic calling over Wi-Fi and cellular networks. Vonage Mobile does not burden the user with access numbers or other phone numbers to pass around to friends and family. Users can simply key-in the international phone number or choose from the stored contact list, and hit send.

The application can be downloaded for AT&T and T-Mobile Android phones from vonage.com.
