It hasn’t been long since we reported about online retailer LetsBuy stretching the availability of HTC’s smartphone dubbed Desire S to India. Recently, Vodafone put up the HTC Desire S handset for sale on its network across the U.K.
The sleek and stylish HTC Desire S encompasses a 3.7” 480 x 800p resolution touchscreen display to deliver an enhanced multimedia viewing experience. It is powered by the latest version of Google’s Android 2.3 or Gingerbread OS and runs on a 1GHz Snapdragon processor.
The handset integrates a rear facing 5MP AF and LED flash-enabled camera coupled with 720p HD video recording capabilities for photography enthusiasts. It also jackets a front-facing VGA FF camera to enable video calls.
The various connectivity features proffered by the device include Wi-Fi IEEE 802.11b/g/n, Bluetooth 2.1, GPS support, a 3.5mm stereo audio jack and microUSB 2.0 among others. The inclusion of HTC’s Sense UI enables better accessibility to various functions incorporated in the smartphone.
The HTC Desire S can be ordered through the Vodafone UK online store for free with monthly plans starting at £30.
