Through this service, one gets to read strips and even full length comics of admired Indian and International characters like Chacha Chaudhary, Suppandi, Akbar and Birbal, Hanuman, Mickey & Donald, Winnie the Pooh and many more interesting comics on their mobile devices. Users can choose from over 35 popular titles from the comic store.
Talking about the launch of Chhota Comics service, Kumar Ramanathan, Chief Marketing Officer at Vodafone Essar said,” Last year we launched Amar Chitra Katha on Vodafone, which became very popular with our customers. With the launch of ‘Chhota Comics’ service, we aim to further enhance our customers’ experience by providing them with advanced features and more comic categories.”
This service is being offered to users via Vodafone Live. They can visit the comic store and purchase comic strips at Rs.2 or grab a full length comic at Rs.15. The user can pan, zoom and vibrate while using the service for the comics offered. Users can download the application reader for free. One can even message ‘COMIC’ to 111 and access the WAP application for the download and purchase of comics.
