After Cricket introduced its plans for shipping Apple handsets, the Virgin Mobile iPhone 4 and 4S are slated to go live on June 29, that’s Friday. Both the phones will be part of the carrier’s Beyond Talk unlimited data and messaging scheme that begins at a cost of $35 per month.

The phones will operate on the Sprint nationwide network in the US and can be picked up without a contract. Customers are not liable to pay roaming or activation fees. The actual cost of the aforesaid data plan starts at $35. However, those opting for the automatic monthly payments option are entitled to receive a $5 discount on monthly charges. Potential users can register for automatic monthly payments with a credit card, PayPal account or a debit car, that drops the handset’s rates to $30 a month.

“This month marks Virgin Mobile USA’s tenth birthday. And what better way to thank our fans for ten years of loyalty than by giving them exactly what they want: the perfect plan for the perfect phone. That is the essence of A Higher Calling,” commented Sir Richard Branson, founder of Virgin Group.
