Virgin Media introduces a new unlimited contract deal

Virgin Media Logo Virgin Media has introduced a new mobile phone contract deal offering unlimited calls, texts and Internet for a fixed charge per month. Users can be a part of this deal by paying a standard monthly charge of £65, according to T3.

The deal will offer unlimited minutes to cross network along with unlimited minutes to other Virgin customers. It would also include unlimited text messages and web access including free IM.

Only those customers who are a part of the TV, landline or broadband package with the company can avail this service. The fixed monthly charge of £65 may seem too expensive for a short 18 month contract. The company has instead made the Fair Use Policy mandatory for customers.

This Policy offers download of up to 1GB per month along with nearly 3,000 restricted texts. Users will be offered only 3,000 minutes for making calls to UK landlines and mobile phones. Besides, 3,000 minutes will be offered to make calls to other Virgin customers. However, they will be given an opportunity to choose from the Nokia N86 and the Samsung Jet while signing up the 18-month contract.

Its now for users to decide whether the mobile contract by Virgin Media is really unlimited or restricted.
