Vertu rolls out elegant Ascent Ferrari GT

Vertu Ascent GT Two years back in February, Vertu had raised the curtains to display its fresh Ferrari lineup. Styled in exquisite leather, the company introduced the variants, the Nero, the Rosso and the Gialllo. Extending this portfolio of products in collaboration with Ferrari, Vertu has doffed the silk off the all new Ascent Ferrari GT.

The handset manufacturer along with Ferrari has crafted a phone that oozes with luxury. This device is embedded with 2-inch QVGA sapphire crystal display. The grandiose phone has been sculpted from forged titanium with a matte black PVD finish. It is lined with red and black hand-sewn leather similar to the interiors of a Ferrari. The battery cover is constructed out of ceramic. The phone’s form factor represents the Ferrari’s iconic engine block. It bundles up several attributes including Chronograph stopwatch, Bluetooth, micro USB port, A-GPS and POP3/IMAP 4 email client.

Further, the device incorporates Vertu Feeds application delivering, City Brief Guides, Vertu Select exclusive content, Vertu Fortress secure back up service and the Worldmate Travel application. It uses WCDMA I/II/V/VI, EGSM 900 and GSM 850/1800/1900 networks. The handset has been integrated with a 5 megapixel camera featuring LED flash. Measuring 118 x 45 x 18 mm, it tips the scale at 187g. The phone provides users up to 4.8 hours of talktime on GSM, 4 hours on WCDMA and up to 300 hours of standby time.

Apparently, only 2011 units of the Vertu Ascent Ferrari GT will be manufactured. The pricing details of this beauty are unclear.
