Vertu which is Nokia’s luxury brand has created a crumpled looking mobile phone known as the Vertu Boucheron 150. This masterpiece is created to celebrate 150th anniversary of the Boucheron French jewelry house.

The Vertu Boucheron 150 is made out of solid gold that will surely get your eyes fixed on it. The creation took over 1000 hours to shape it uniquely and 700 man hours of hand polishing and 500 hours to hand build. Overall it takes 2000 hours to produce a single unit. The Vertu Boucheron 150 phone looks very stunning with its sapphire crystal keypad.

Frank Nuovo, Vertu Principal Designer explains “The constantly changing angled surfaces allow a cut stone appearance, inspired by the clearly faceted stones which are a significant part of Boucheron’s core craft. The recognisable Vertu V shape has seemingly morphed into random proportioned patterns and directions of the three sided surfaces creating a perfect blend of Vertu and Boucheron elements. The challenge was to gain visual sparkle not from precious stones but instead through pure form and line achieved with precious faceted metal”

The device comes in a luxury wooden case made from Noce Pedullo, a special part of the walnut tree. The phone is built out of a single piece of massive gold. There are no details on its specifications or features of the Vertu Boucheron 150 mobile phone.

This uniquely crafted and shaped phone is expected to be more than $30.000.
