The new NFL Mobile app helps users view the latest news, headlines, stats and scores from the first drills in training camps. Gaming buffs can also keep themselves updated with Super Bowl XLV in North Texas in February 2011. The truly engaging application will feature live audio broadcasts of every regular season game during the 2010 season.

Apart from this, a V CAST Video subscription can also be added on users’ mobile device in order to access exciting premium NFL video content. Users will receive videos on demand with detailed information about players and team news. With this enhanced app, users can now easily watch live streams of NFL RedZone, NFL Network, NBC’s Sunday Night Football and NFL Network’s Thursday Night Football.

The updated version of NFL Mobile can be easily downloaded. Android users can download it from the Verizon Channel in Android Market. Users with BlackBerry smartphones can simply text ‘NFL’ to 8915 for a link to the app.

There is no monthly subscription for NFL Mobile and users will have access to NFL Network and Video on Demand content for free through the end of August. However, from September 1, users will have to shell out $10 per month for V CAST Video subscription to access premium video features of NFL Mobile. Users will be charged according to their data package for the usage of the app.
