Verizon Samsung Galaxy S3 to touch down on July 10

Verizon Samsung Galaxy S3

What with the Verizon Samsung Galaxy S3 and the Droid Incredible 4G launching just five days apart, at least several customers may be in a bit of a fix when it comes to choosing a new smartphone. The 16GB Samsung handset will hit Verizon stores and the carrier’s website on July 10, while the 32GB one will be offered online on the said date, before it reaches shelves.

So far, US fans of the ‘iPhone’s closest rival’ have been given the choice to lay hands on the device through Sprint. Those who can’t wait until next week and would rather have 4G LTE right off, have the option to pick up the handset via AT&T. The price remains the same on all three network providers and it’s probably only the monthly plans that will change.

Trying to find convincing reasons to ditch that old smartphone? The new Galaxy S comes with Android 4.0 and a 1.5GHz dual core processor. A 4.8-inch HD Super AMOLED display is spread out across the front and there’s an 8MP main camera on the back panel. 2GB RAM, mobile hotspot capability that supports up to 10 compatible gadgets and a host of intuitive utilities are also part of the specs sheet.

We’ve already reported the Verizon Samsung Galaxy S3 price previously. But for those who need to be reminded – the 16GB phone costs $199.99, while the 32GB one can be grabbed for $249.99. It tags along a two-year customer agreement and plans.
