Motorola Citrus

Last month, we had reported on Motorola and Verizon Wireless joining hands to unravel the elegant Citrus. Back then, it was said that the device will be hitting stores in the fourth quarter of this year. Well, the time has finally come for the Citrus to step out from behind the curtains. Yes, the Motorola Citrus will be hitting Verizon Wireless Communications Stores and the official website tomorrow.

Operating on the Android 2.1, this beauty has been crafted with 25 percent post-consumer recycled plastic and is claimed to be CarbonFree Certified. Moreover, the packaging is made from 80 percent post-consumer recycled paper. Whereas, the user manual is made using 100 percent recycled paper and soy-based ink. Thus, environment conscious individuals would appreciate the fact that the handset is eco-friendly.

The Motorola Citrus will retail with a price tag of $49.99 and can be procured after a $100 mail-in rebate and activation of a fresh two year contract. Users will have to sign up for a Verizon Wireless Nationwide plan and a Data Package to avail this touchscreen device.
