Verizon introduces Friends and Family plan for Business

Verizon logo Verizon Wireless announces a new plan called Friends and Family for business. The plan should help business people to manage and control their expenses on the wireless communication.

The Friends and Family plan allows companies to create a calling group of 10 members. Users can add colleagues, clients, vendors or any other number they call frequently. The group members can call any member and the minutes used when calling or receiving a call will be considered as Mobile to Mobile calls and not against the business plan minutes.

“Business customers can help their bottom line with Friends & Family for Business,” states Rob Miller, vice president of marketing for Verizon Wireless. “The feature gives businesses the flexibility to create their own calling plan. If a project is complete and there is no longer a need to call a certain vendor, they can simply remove that vendor’s name from the Friends & Family group and add a new contact – even if the number is to a landline or a person using another wireless carrier.”

You can add landline and wireless numbers in the group which can also be changed, added or removed accordingly. The plan is available for businesses subscribed to Nationwide for Business Single-Line plan with at least 900 Anytime minutes or Nationwide for Business Single-Line with share option with at least 450 Anytime Minutes.

Whenever business users using the Friends and Family plan adds, removes or changes any number on Verizon Enterprise center, the new number will be considered from the following day.

The Friends and Family plan for Business will be available from March 15.
