Unicorn Once Live beta to support live streaming in mobile devices

Unicorn Once Live StreamingUnicorn Once has been expanded to provide support for live streaming to mobile devices through Unicorn Once Live. Unicorn Media, says that this expanded platform will allow its users to transmit live content to innumerable web-connected devices like Windows Mobile 7, iDevices, Palm, set-top boxes, Blackberry and game consoles among others.

Customers of Unicorn Once Live will get the same privileges of Unicorn Once which was till now restricted to only VOD content. This, the company says is patented technology and not client software development kits or customized server solutions like the conventional mobile delivery ones. They allow customers to absorb their content once and get a single URL in return. This URL apparently delivers monetized content to countless devices while providing real-time analytics through Unicorn Vision. These services give users the same capabilities which they are habituated to in typical browser or Flash-based environs.

Bill Rinehart, Founder and CEO, Unicorn Media stated, “Unicorn Once Live is the next obvious evolution for our ground-breaking Unicorn Once technology. We will continue to expand the Unicorn Once solution as we are committed to providing our customers with cutting edge technology for delivering video to their audiences –any device, anytime, anywhere.”

These applications reportedly deliver a play-out experience while eliminating the need for a player on devices like game consoles, iPhones, Windows Mobile 7, BlackBerry phones, Palm, set-top boxes, etc. Content owners are now enabled to embed ads which comprise ad targeting and personalization for video on demand or live content to mobile devices without any extra complications added to their workflow.

The company has declared a private Beta for Unicorn Once Live for Unicorn Once users.
