Blackberry loyalists who use twitter regularly have a treat in store for them. A report from UberTwitter reveals that a new Beta version of UberTwitter is rolled out. UberTwitter Beta 6 is now available for use.
There are some great features that come with this new version. With this app, users can create, delete, subscribe, add members, view members etc. One can also search people via the ‘Find People’ link on the homepage of Twitter. A new feature called the Über Bar is present in the app. In the Retweets function, one can also use the old style RT too.
One can also update their twitter profile from their handset directly. Users can even report spam and change their profile image from their device. With the Twitter Geo-Tagging, one can choose to use yloc.me URLs, Twitter Geo-Tagging, or both. Other attributes like friend picker and larger avatars are also available with the app.
This app enables users to even tweet longer. One can send and receive lengthy tweets. In UberTwitter Beta-6, they have collaborated with WhatTheTrend.com to provide explanations for trending subjects and one can even offer their own clarification. This new app facilitates selection of either the new ‘bubble’ layout or the old ‘bar’ layout.
To signify confirmed users, a small blue check-mark icon is provided. The network connection logic ought to be smoother since it has been re-worked upon.
