Threat Watch is linked straight into TrendWatch which is Trend Micro’s security advising news centre for recent threat activities and provides free tools for the same. It also helps in accessing the Trend Micro malware blog and provides information on security awareness. Preventive measures for online safety and threats are also provided for enhanced security.
Educational videos on Internet threats and the threat landscape are provided to users who are alien to this kind of crimes. They can get access to breaking threat news on their devices with banner alerts warning them of new threats or vulnerability.
In 2009, Trend Micro launched the Trend Smart Surfing for iPhone and iPod touch users for protection against websites that might contain malicious content. This app uses Trend Micro’s Web reputation technology, a component of the Trend Micro Smart Protection Network infrastructure which provides advanced protection and blocks unwanted content.
