Glu Mobile Inc. publicized the global launch of Transformers CyberToy for the iPhone and the iPod touch. This is the third application based on the Transformers franchise that Glu has designed and published, under license from Hasbro.
This gaming application is introduced in tandem with the forthcoming Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen movie by DreamWorks Pictures and Paramount Pictures. This game is the most recent edition to the Glu Snax series which is a brand specifically developed for the iPhone and the iPod touch. It merges refined graphics along with an interactive experience at an economical price. Glu Snax labels provide iPhone users with a fast, attractive and reasonable mobile experience.
“The Glu team is excited to launch this unique entertainment application based on characters from the renowned Transformers toy line and movie series. Transformers CyberToy is a completely new type of application from Glu, allowing players to transform characters from vehicle to robot by utilizing the touch screen to interact with their favorite Transformers in a virtual environment,” stated Jill Braff, senior vice president of global publishing, Glu.
The application offers gamers an Action Figure Mode from which they can select varied poses, play sounds and animations. Moreover they can also set up their signature artillery. Gamers can quickly swap between robots and vehicles through a series of taps, touches, shakes and tilts. Further they can view information about every powerful Transformers robot like the Optimus Prime, Bumblebee, Megatron and Starscream. This app launches with Bumblebee and more characters will be introduced in due course.
Transformers CyberToy is offered globally for an introductory price of $0.99 from Apple’s App Store or the iTunes store.
