A document seems to have been attained claiming that the clamshell handset by Toshiba – TG02 has been spotted on the Wi-Fi Alliance website. It is believed that the handset carries the model number TM5-E01. According to IntoMobile, customers will soon get to see this device hitting stores.
The high-end phone weighs 129 grams including the battery and is 70 x 129 x 9.9 mm. It has a display of 4.12-inch color transflective TFT with 480 x 800 resolution. Support for stereo, mono format as well as proprietary audio output are also offered. GSM850, GSM900, GSM1800, GSM1900, UMTS2100 and CSD, GPRS, EDGE, UMTS, HSDPA, HSUPA are the networks compatible with the handset.
Users can click countless pictures with the 3.0 megapixel camera which is packed with autofocus, 1x Optical Zoom and an added 0.3 megapixel secondary camera. It also incorporates a removable battery of 1000 mAh as well as a built-in accelerometer.
Other additions are Wi-Fi, a touchscreen, GPS, Bluetooth and HSPA along with other features. Let’s hope the successor of the Toshiba TG01 namely the TG02 will be out in the open soon.
