The experience of downloading music tracks using a mobile internet connection can sometimes turn into a harrowing one for music buffs, due numerous connectivity problems. Three UK had already launched a service to pretty much take care of this problem last year. Taking it forward, it has recently sought to expand the availability of the new Facebook and Twitter-friendly music store to a wider range of mobile phone users.

The reason that prompted the launching of this service is the success it has already registered on some of the operator’s Android devices. The Three music store powered by FoneStarz Media, enables users to directly download various music tracks to their mobile phones. Further, this service provides users with an option to automatically update their status on Twitter and Facebook which will reflect the latest music they have purchased.

“Thanks to Three’s high-speed mobile Internet network, it is even easier for customers to download music tracks to their mobile phone wherever they are. The service has proven that people are keen to recommend music amongst their friends on Facebook and Twitter, giving access to a wider range of music than ever before.” shared Neil Andrews, Three UK head of media sales and content services.

The browser based music store enables users to access music produced by many independent and almost all chief record labels including Universal, Sony, Warner, Vidzone and EMI. Additionally, this service comes equipped with My Music Club, a section that presents special offers and promotions. The Three’s mobile Internet network allows users to easily browse the latest tracks straight from their handsets. Users can access the new music store by heading over to the Three’s mobile phone portal where they will find a link to the Three music store.

The brand-new music store has been available since December, for the Android platform based devices on the Three network. As a full service, this tool is not available for Apple OS or WP7 users.
