The T-Mobile G1 v2 to be unveiled in October?

T-Mobile and Wallmart logo T-Mobile’s G1, the Google Android smartphone from HTC, created a lot of frenzy when it was launched in 2008. According to The Boy Genius Report, it is said that the T-mobile has come out with a second iteration of the T-Mobile G1 called the T-mobile G1 v2. The T-Mobile G1 v2 is an Android smartphone and is said to look like the nicest Android handset made so far.

The G1 v2 should be the perfect choice for those users who weren’t very impressed with the hardware design of the G1 and were disappointed with the lack of a QWERTY keyboard in the Magic. The design of the phone is said to be influenced by its rival – The iPhone. The V2 is believed to have a sleek design with chrome accents and a black front.

It would also have a dedicated ringer, volume switches and apparently, it will come equipped with a full slide-out QWERTY keyboard. According to the rumor mill, it will be launched in the month of October and will be available for a price of $148 with a 2-year agreement at Walmart.
