‘The Iterative Webapp’ announced by Google

Google Iterative Webapp

Proud owners of Android-powered mobile devices who rely on the web version of the Gmail for mobile app have just got something convenient. According to the Official Google Mobile Blog, Google has just introduced an all-new compose view redesign, the Iterative Webapp, for mobile users.

Users can now enter Google’s redesigned Compose page. It features new address fields that automatically expand to fit all the email addresses that users are entering. Making a lot of things easier, the new app significantly eases up the frustrations of having to scroll through the long listing of email addresses users intend on sending the message to if they finally figure out there is one that they’ve mistakenly included.

The redesigned compose page helps users save their screen space and avoid any kind of confusion when they’re reviewing an email before sending. Once users select a contact from the auto-complete menu, they’ll also notice that the contact becomes an object that they can tap on. Tapping on a contact opens a detailed view that allows users to double-check the person’s email address or remove them from the email.

In addition, the app enables users to remove the contact they just added by tapping ‘backspace’. The page now simply fills the entire screen, giving users more space to see what they’re writing.

The new update is available now for Android and iPhone handsets.
