Text2Pay mobile payment service has introduced a new Tap2Pay facility which enables in-app payments for Android devices. This further expands the line of mobile payment apps today for smartphones, which include Payfirma Canada and Loop mobile payment service in India.
Other than offering all services and solutions provided by the Text2Pay app, the Tap2Pay feature also enables white labeled solutions. The feature does not require payments through credit card, user login or third-party registration. It simply accepts the payment and adds the purchase to the mobile phone bill of the user. After users put an item on the purchase list, the developer starts the transaction by making a call. The user is expected to confirm this transaction with a simple tap on the device when prompted.
The Tap2Pay feature by Text2Pay app boasts of a consumer reach of over 5 percent with access enabled in over 70 countries and offers competitive revenue shares. It is designed to support 49 languages from all around the world and can carry out transactions in over 60 currencies.
For developers, the Tap2Pay app can be incorporated in their mobile applications or services as a payment widget. This can be done with the aid of an API and Java library. Existing consumers can enjoy this feature as a part of Text2Pay app.
