Telus handsets now offered on Black’s

Telus Black's Logos Canadian network carrier Telus recently joined hands with national digital imaging retailer Black’s to retail Telus wireless products and services in time for the holiday shopping season.

This association with Black’s to offer a wide range of Telus’s 3G and 3G+ wireless devices is a part of the network carrier’s extensive national network of retailers.

“The future of wireless begins today with TELUS’ launch of Canada’s largest 3G+ mobile high speed network. Our customer’s needs are evolving. More and more wireless devices come complete with high quality photo and video capabilities, and through our distribution at Black’s, TELUS customers who are passionate about photography will be able to easily select the device that best suits their needs. We’re excited to launch TELUS’ best-in-class wireless devices at Black’s, Canada’s premier national imaging and digital retailer,” mentioned Joe Natale, president, TELUS Consumer Solutions.

Ethel Taylor, president and general manager of Black’s, stated, “Canadians will never again have to say ‘I wish I had my camera’. Now they will always be ready to capture special moments with their TELUS camera phones. Today’s wireless handsets offer high quality photo and video capabilities and are the perfect fit for Canadians looking to stay connected, informed and entertained on the go while enjoying their love of digital imaging. Our team has the expertise to meet the wireless and digital imaging needs of Canadians in one convenient location, with the client experience they have come to expect from both Black’s and TELUS.”

Handsets from leading manufacturers including Research in Motion, HTC, Nokia, LG, Samsung and Motorola will be made available in Black’s locations across Canada.

It seems that this initiative by Telus is a step towards boosting their handsets’ sales.
