Tata DoCoMo has presented its customers with quite a handful of offerings this month. After releasing the English Seekho VAS application, it unveiled a new Songshare on Facebook which was launched under the Call Me Tunes (CMT) service. Postpay users could further take advantage of an exclusive ‘Roam Free’ offer. Now the company caters to the needs of Indian families by announcing a new plan entitled MyFamily which falls under the Keep It Simple campaign.
Postpay customers can take advantage of three various plan in the MyFamily offering. The company provides them with many beneficial requirements such as free local and STD SMS, free airtime for making local and STD calls, data usage on 2G or 3G data services as well as a CUG offer for free local calling. The three plans are noted to be categorized as Small Family, Medium Family and Large Family. Up to 3 connections are provided in the former while the latter two offer up to 5 connections.
“This is yet another industry first from Tata DOCOMO and is another key step in our constant endeavor to simplify and uncomplicate telecom services. Starting today, postpay customers can stop worrying about managing multiple bills, multiple plans, and multiple payments dates. With MyFamily Plans the family can now benefit from buying into telecom as a single unit and eat from a very large common pool of minutes, data and SMS,” commented GurinderSingh Sandhu, Head Corporate Marketing, Tata Teleservices Limited.
Under MyFamily Small Plan, users can acquire 3000 mins for local and STD calls, 1000 CUG minutes for local calls, 500 local or STD SMS and 512 MB data consumption absolutely free of cost. The MyFamily Medium plan enables customers to avail of local 1500 CUG minutes, 1GB data consumption, 6000 mins for local and STD calls and 1000 free local or STD SMS again all free. The final plan namely MyFamily Large delivers local 2000 CUG minutes, 2GB data consumption, 1500 free local or STD SMS and 10000 mins for local and STD calls, all for free.
Tata DoCoMo’s trio of plans Small Family, Medium Family and Large Family are individually priced at Rs. 999, Rs. 1,999 and Rs. 2,999. Once the free airtime in the MyFamily plans are completely used, mobile enthusiasts will then have to shell out 1p/sec for all local and STD calls made. Customers would also get a single bill on acquiring these plans.
