T-Mobile USA intros Motorola Cliq with Motoblur

T-Mobile Motorola Cliq Networking via mobile phones has reached new horizons with the latest handset from Motorola. The latest Motorola Cliq has been introduced in association with T-Mobile at GigaOM’s Mobilize 09 conference.

The Android driven handset features the innovative Motoblur solution that handles and integrates communication features ranging from e-mail to social networking activity. Employing this technology, the handset brings updates from Facebook, Twitter, MySpace, Gmail, as well as from work and personal e-mail right on the handset’s homescreen.

The smartphone features a 3.1-inch HVGA touchscreen display. The 3G enabled handset boasts of a slide-out QWERTY keyboard facilitating users to quickly fire a text message. Navigation is also made fun and rapid owing to Motoblur’s streams and widgets. The Cliq is equipped with 2GB microSD memory card and supports up to 32GB of removable memory.

Sanjay Jha, co-CEO of Motorola and CEO of Motorola Mobile Devices stated, “We’re pleased to announce our first Android-powered device in partnership with T-Mobile USA. Motorola CLIQ with MOTOBLUR differentiates the Android experience for consumers by being the only smartphone that automatically syncs conversations, contacts and content, and delivers a solution that’s instinctive, social and smart.”

With T-Mobile’s 3G network and Wi-Fi, mobile Web experience with the Motorola handset is also elevated. Further, the smartphone packages a 5 megapixel auto focus camera with video capture and playback that delivers 24 frames per second. It incorporates a 3.5mm headset jack, a music player with pre-loaded Amazon MP3 store application, Shazam, iMeem Mobile and more.

T-Mobile is yet to reveal the pricing details of the Motorola handset. However it is expected to hit the stores by this fall in the US.
