Few months back, T-Mobile launched a touchscreen handset dubbed Samsung Memoir and now the network carrier is gratifying its subscribers by offering the mobile phone for free on a 2 year contract.
The 3G enabled device weighs about 4.4 ounces and incorporates a 1000mAh Li-ion battery that delivers up to 4.8 hours of talktime and around 9 days of standby time. The touchscreen mobile phone boasts of an 8 megapixel camera and users can easily share the photos to an e-mail address, T-Mobile camera phone or MyAlbum.
The Samsung Memoir offers access to social networking sites like Yahoo!, Windows Live and AIM. The handset supports Stereo Bluetooth wireless technology and allows users to send and receive e-mails right from their mobile device. The compact handset from Samsung measures 4.2” x 2.1” x 0.6” and features voice dialing capability as well as built-in GPS. Apparently, the Samsung mobile phone incorporates TouchWiz technology and full-touch virtual QWERTY keypad.
