T-Mobile iPhone 5 predicted to make an entrance in 2013

Rumor has it that the iPhone 5 will be launched through T-Mobile, ever since the news of the carrier signing an agreement with Apple was officially declared. Over the years, many products of the American multinational corporation have been claimed by various service providers such as AT&T, Verizon and Sprint and the operator in question is yet to join in the race.

Deutsche Telekom slipped in the details of this partnership in a financial press release. The exact launch window is still under wraps which leaves customers guessing so as to when the network provider will be distributing Apple-manufactured products.

Although no announcement has been made mentioning the precise product list that will be shipped in, it can be speculated that the introduction of the iPad Mini and the fourth generation iPad through online and retail stores of the carrier is around the corner.

T-Mobile recently launched a nano SIM that is compatible with the iPhone 5. For as long as this limited time offer is valid, it has been made available for free. However, it’s suggested retail cost stands at $9.99. The network provider has even waived off the $35 fee for activation.

For the manufacturer, this seems like yet another medium to expand its horizons and reach out to as many consumers as it possibly can. Apparently, even after pushing out its flagship handset for almost a hundred nations within three months of its release, there seems no end to the company’s expansion strategies.

Quickly running through the present key specifications of the latest handset, it runs on the iOS 6 platform and flaunts a 4-inch Retina display with a fingerprint-resistant oleophobic coating. For picture-capturing and HD video-recording, an 8MP camera is embedded onto the rear. The gadget is powered by a built-in Li-ion battery and it is currently available through a number of carriers in 16GB, 32GB and 64GB variants.

Since T-Mobile has still not been pinned down the price of the iPhone 5, it is safe to say that it could launch the smartphone within the same cost bracket as that offered by other service providers. So those awaiting the handset’s release can expect it and other Apple products to land anytime in the approaching year.
