T-Mobile And Nokia Event

T-Mobile USA and Nokia have issued a fresh invitation to a mystery event that is to be held by them next week, on December 14. Most technology related events and their invitations come with a surprise or two up their sleeve and this time around, it doesn’t seem any different.

The bright pink, grey and white invitation does not specify what exactly is expected to happen at the event that is scheduled to take place in the forthcoming week. According to Engadget, going by the tiled design of the invitation which is synonymous with Windows Phone, it is being widely speculated that the Microsoft mobile OS may have something important to do with the upcoming event.

The stylish brochure states that the event is scheduled to start at 7 p.m. and an RSVP has been included to confirm the presence of journalists. After the invitation was issued, tech terrain has been abuzz with various rumors regarding the arrival of either one of the newly unveiled Nokia Lumia smartphones in the U.S. at this event. Although the Nokia Lumia 710 and 800 Windows Phone devices have officially released in Europe and various countries around the world, its debut in the U.S. is still a much awaited affair.

However, some sections are also suggesting that, like many other handsets in the past, a new version of these phones which is different from the standard original models is set to enter the U.S. On the other hand, strong rumors also indicate the probable arrival and unveiling of a totally new Lumia 900 smartphone at the upcoming event.

It remains to be seen if T-Mobile will be the first carrier in the U.S. to launch the Nokia Lumia phones or if this invitation is the indication of something different altogether.
