In today’s smartphone market where everyone is bombarded with choices and features, users are looking forward to a device which combines the best of both. Seeming to hit the right spot, Sprint and Motorola have officially unveiled their latest smartphone called Motorola XPRT, which pairs enterprise-class security with Android platform.

The Motorola XPRT smartphone lets anyone mix office with personal life as it integrates a slew of business-ready features. The sleek handset sports compact design encompassing a pinch-to-zoom capable 3.1” HVGA touchscreen display and a full physical QWERTY keypad. It is powered by the Android 2.2 OS and runs on a 1GHz processor to deliver all-round better performance.

Alves, president – Sprint Business. “Motorola XPRT delivers the security features enterprise customer’s demand without scrimping on the latest in technology, while Motorola Titanium is a rugged Android smartphone with Nextel Direct Connect’s sub-second Push-to-Talk.”

The phone is bound a put wide smile across most business professionals’ faces with the inclusion of attributes such as Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync, Adobe Flash 10, enterprise-class security with 256-bit AES data encryption. Additionally, users will be provided with features like ability to remotely enforce pin or password lock, password recovery and implement data wipe on both the phone and SD cards, in the event of theft.

This Motorola device comes pre-installed with Motoblur to enable convenient viewing of updates, news feed and messages from social networking sites. It integrates a 5MP dual LED flash-enabled camera for photography enthusiasts. The connectivity options provided by the phone include Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR, Wi-Fi b/g/n, 3G mobile hotspot capability and more.

Sprint will begin shipping the Motorola XPRT from June 5, in Sprint stores, online, and by phone and business sales for $129.99 clubbed with a two-year service contract. The smartphone entails activation of Sprint’s Everything Data plans, which start at $69.99 plus a $10 premium data add-on charge.
