The Sprint Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 price has been listed as $550, while the release date is pinned for November 11. It is slated to be made available with month-to-month rate plans of $15, $32, $50 or $80 for 3G or 4G LTE data.
Samsung’s 10.1-inch tablet treats itself to a generous scoop of the Ice Cream Sandwich platform and it is likely to receive the Jelly Bean update in the future. The slab measuring 10.1 x 6.9 x 0.38 inches, weighs close to 1.28lbs and is fitted with a TFT multi-touch screen. Prospective users can expect the device to project high definition visuals in 1280 x 800p resolution.
A VGA camera accompanies the touchscreen on the front panel for video calling purposes, while the flip side has been blessed with a 3MP snapper which can click still shots and record videos. The 16GB device even features an expansion slot for additional storage of up to 32GB using a microSD card.
In order to facilitate multitasking on the move, the Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 integrates a 1GHz dual core processor. There’s Wi-Fi for wireless internet access and Bluetooth, besides a USB port for connectivity purposes. It draws power from a 7000mAh battery.
