For those who were looking out for these tidings, the Sprint Samsung Galaxy S III release date has been pinned down to June 21. The carrier will be offering the smartphone with a range of unlimited data pricing plans and the pre-loaded Google Wallet application.

The gadget is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 1.5GHz dual core CPU together with an integrated 2GB RAM and a TouchWiz interface layered with Android 4.0 OS. It is dominated by a 4.8-inch HD Super AMOLED touchscreen protected by Gorilla Glass 2 and a front facing 1.9MP snapper for video conferencing. Additionally, the back panel carries an 8MP camera.

“Sprint and Samsung take another leap forward together in bringing our customers the best in mobile technology with Galaxy S III on the Sprint 4G LTE network,” stated Fared Adib, Vice President of Product Development at Sprint, while talking about the upcoming launch. “Sprint is the only US carrier to offer this device with the simplicity of unlimited data plans. Our customers will appreciate being able to use the robust features and capabilities of this device without worrying about data caps, throttling or silly overage charges.”

Apart from the quad core processor doing a runner on the new Galaxy S, Sprint subscribers will also have to be content without 4G LTE. That’s because the carrier hasn’t got around to hoisting up their 4G LTE network as yet. In terms of pricing, it’s $199.99 and $249.99 for the 16GB and 32GB handsets, respectively. A two-year agreement and data plans are also part of the deal on a new line or eligible upgrade.

Apart from announcing the Sprint Samsung Galaxy S III US price and release date, the network operator has also mentioned that customers will be able to reserve a unit starting from today.
