The HTC Evo Design 4G is the next HTC phone from Sprint set to hit the markets soon. As its name suggests, the device is 4G enabled and also flaunts functions which make it ready to be a world phone.

Like most HTC devices, the Evo Design 4G pairs up the HTC Sense with the Android operating system in its Gingerbread version. It is integrated with a 1.2GHz processor, and features a 4-inch qHD capacitive touchscreen display. For the purpose of capturing images and videos, it sports a rear facing 5MP camera with flash and HD video recording, while a front facing 1.3MP one comes into the picture when users want to make video calls and chat.

“Priced at under $100, HTC EVO Design 4G is the perfect device for consumers looking for both the benefits of 4G and the latest in device style,” commented Fared Adib, Sprint vice president-Product Development. “When matched with one of the Sprint Everything Data plans, our customers will unlock the value of unlimited without worrying about the cost or surprises on their monthly bill.”

This handset shows off a stylishly crafted aluminum unibody design. Its potential as a world phone are described by its abilities enabling users to make and receive calls or texts as well as access email and more from locations around the globe. On the connectivity front, this 4G capable phone functions as a 3G mobile hotspot, supporting up to eight Wi-Fi enabled devices on the Sprint 3G or 4G network.

Exclusive of taxes and after a $50 mail-in rebate via reward card, the Sprint HTC Evo Design 4G is priced at $99.99. It is offered by the network carrier along with a two-year agreement and will be made available in Sprint Stores, as well as web sales and telesales. Users can grab it starting from October 23.
