If you are a true James Bond fan, then here’s just the phone for you. KDDI has just come out with a limited edition of signature007 Quantum of Solace mobile phone, based on the recent James Bond movie bearing the same name.
The limited edition W63S includes an internal 2.7 inch organic EL WQVGA display with an external 1.1 inch organic EL display. W63S also sports a100MB internal memory, EZ FeliCa, ISeg support. The phone also comes with a 3MP shooter.
KDDIau, Japan’s number 2 telecommunications company has joined hands with regional telecom Okinawa Cellular to release this cool phone to the Japanese market only. The device will cost about $145 apparently and only 3000 units will be sold Japan wide. The handset is manufactured by Sony Ericsson.
James Bond is considered to be a big brand name in Japan. So bringing together of Japanese people’s two favorite pastimes, gizmos and brand figures, seems likely to be a big hit.
