space150 recently introduced an innovative app for the iPhone dubbed DQ Restaurant Finder along with a mobile version of the Dairy Queen website.
The mobile version of the website boasts of a simple design compared to the full website and enables users to find a Dairy Queen store effortlessly. The mobile website features simplified menu and nutritional information.
“We’re thrilled to see the growth in traffic from mobile users. Our mobile users have different objectives than desktop users, and we wanted to make sure we make it easy to give them what they want,” quoted Michael Keller, DQ’s Chief Marketing Officer.
“A lot of mobile developers have a ‘kitchen sink’ problem. They try to squeeze everything into their mobile applications just because they can. We kept it simple, and gave the mobile users what they needed: a way to find their local DQ restaurant,” stated space150 President Marcus Fisher.
Further, the iPhone app employs GPS to search for the closest store based on the user’s location. With the DQ Restaurant app, users can easily find local DQ restaurant. With this app, space150 aims to offer information on the go for its users.
