The gameplay takes place on planet Orb which is home to the Space Balls and is powered by the Ultramegasphere. Some arch-enemies like Cuboids appear and steal it from them. They further, slash the planet into pieces and battle with the Triangulon galaxy as well. Set in distant galaxies, users need to get all the parts back or else the Cuboids will attack Orb.
Other than 90 utmost difficult levels, users are required to cross 35 different obstacles and enemies from asteroids to deadly black holes. With almost 16 Space Balls of varied skills and attributes, players can explode bombs to move a gravity field or destroy the alien defenses by hitting some antimatter.
